Lazy Saturday morning

Hush is happy the fireworks are over and our regular schedule is in practice.  Typical Saturday morning.  She loves the cool carpet even though there are perfectly comfy dog beds available.  That's Hush front and center.

Banana Pancakes

Favorite pastime

Like most Greyhounds, Hush enjoys her rest.  

She loves this spot on the floor in front of the AC.  Hush is doing really well here.  She loves other dogs and gets on well with all animals.  Small dogs, big dogs, and cats - she's such a love. She also does the cutest happy dance when it's time to go for a walk!  Her most favorite though; is the company of a human.  This is why Hush will need to go to a family who has a "stay at home" adult or someone retired who spends time at home.   She's not a needy dog at all, she just finds comfort in having humans around.  She is so well behaved in the house, doesn't chew anything she's not allowed to have, and pretty much minds her own business.  Hush does not do well in the crate, but it is not an issue since she is perfect having access to the house.  She is not a fan of thunderstorms but we have been working with her and have made huge progress with this fear.  Another reason why she can only go to a home that has someone who can be with her if a thunderstorm pops up.

A total love and full of gentleness = Hush!

Hush is such a quiet girl in the house but sometimes she gets really silly outside!  Check out her antics and ignore my silly laugh and talking. (Sorry)  

Silly wiggles

Not really sure if she is trying to roach, or she's not satisfied with our ability to scratch her back.  Either way Hush does this silly wiggle on the floor from time to time.  She wags her long tail and slaps it on the ground and she wiggles, wiggles, wiggles.  Then she's all done.  It's really cute and funny to watch her scoot across the floor.

Hush is a very sweet, laid back pup.  She is quiet and not one of the "in your face" kind of dogs.  She is gentle and tolerant with both children and other dogs.  She is also cat safe.  She will do best in a home with a family that has a stay at home person or retired person who is home during the day.

Here's Hush enjoying a romp in yesterday's snow.  She had a blast.  Such a silly girl!!  She promptly came inside and slept the rest of the day!!

Hiding from winter

It's such a cold yucky day, I'm going to hide behind my foster mommy until Spring comes to scare Winter away.

Oh, no. Poor Hush Baby has come down with a mild case of ETS (Escaped Tongue Syndrome). We do, however expect her to make a full recovery.

Oh well

Hush Baby didn't meet her forever family at today's adoptathon . . . But she's not losing any sleep over it. ;-)

Just not feeling it. Wake me up when it's over.
